Celebrate St Patricks Day With Dunquin

    Time: 12:40 pm

Three events, all in one day and in two places. We'll start with the big IMDA celebration in downtown Landmark Center: Dunquin plays the Tearoom (aka Courtroom 317) from 12:40-1:20 pm March 17th. Take a break from the noisier side of Irish fun and enjoy a cuppa tea and scone in the quiet corner of the building. We'll play rollicking reels, jubilant jigs, and slow pretty airs for you. Lots of great stuff going on all over the building! Which brings us to the second item: see below:

    Landmark Center With Dunquin

    Time: 2:00 pm

Dunquin is giving a seminar in Courtroom 326 on Notes From Nature: The Irish Countryside in Traditional Music. The Irish musicians of the 19th century had a special realtionship with the land and sea, and often made tunes reflecting that affinity. Come listen to Dunquin demonstrate that kinship in tunes like The Rolling Waves, The Lark in the Clear Air, and more. You'll hear it, too!
